Dear Kids Skate Free Participant,

We hope your 2024 is off to a great start, and you’re enjoying the benefits of the Kids Skate Free (KSF) program. In order to continue providing a fun and safe skating experience for children across the country, the Roller Skating Association (RSA) in collaboration with MyHownd are reaching out to inform you about an upcoming change to the KSF program. Starting January 17, 2024, the KSF program will transition to an annual membership fee of $4.99 per child, per rink, to continue enjoying your weekly free skate passes.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support in making Kids Skate Free a successful and enjoyable program for all participants. The registration process is quick and easy, ensuring uninterrupted access to weekly free roller skating passes for your children.

Here's how it will work:

Please visit www.kidsskatefree.com to verify that there is a rink in your area. Eligible days, time, and ages vary by rink. 

Purchase an individual KSF annual membership for each child you want to register using the link above. A unique one-time code will be sent via email for each voucher purchased.

Starting Jan 16th find your rink on www.kidsskatefree.com and enter the name, birthday, and unique code for each child. Please note, if you need to change rinks at any point in the year you will need a new code for each member

To view and redeem your passes, download the MyHownd app. Passes will appear in the Wallet section and refresh every Monday

That's it! Once your child is a member of the club and registered at the rink of your choice, your weekly passes will appear in your MyHownd wallet each Monday.

We understand the importance of making this program accessible to as many families as possible, and this fee helps us sustain and grow the Kids Skate Free initiative, providing quality experiences for children nationwide.
